Black Emerald Bat Warranty
This warranty applies to GEM-1 2025 models and BBCOR bats. Custom Wood Bats are nonrefundable.
BLACK EMERALD WILL REPLACE ANY DEFECTIVE HIGH-PERFORMANCE BAT FOR SIX MONTHS FROM THE DATE OF PURCHASE, SUBJECT TO THE CONDITIONS OUTLINED BELOW.
**AS OF MARCH 26, 2025, ANY 2024 MODEL GEM-1 BAT PURCHASED AFTER THIS DATE WILL NOT BE COVERED UNDER THE WARRANTY PROGRAM DUE TO BEING DISCOUNTED ON A CLOSE OUT SALE.
SIX MONTH BAT WARRANTY

The Black Emerald bat warranty encompasses all manufacturing defects arising from standard field usage, including but not limited to denting, cracking, breaking, loose or detached end caps, and rattling. This product is engineered for high performance, aiming to achieve optimal results within the constraints of certain association regulations. However, it is important to note that this bat is not indestructible; its longevity is influenced by the frequency and intensity of hits it endures throughout its lifespan. Consequently, this bat is intended for individual use rather than team use. The warranty is limited to one bat per original purchase.
Black Emerald retains the right to deny warranty service to any individual who, at Black Emerald’s sole discretion, misuses the products and/or violates our warranty policy.
PROPER BAT CARE & USAGE INSTRUCTIONS
To prolong the lifespan of your bat, Black Emerald recommends the following:
- Utilize only leather-covered baseballs only. *Using the bat to hit other objects such as weighted balls will void the warranty*
- Restrict the bat to individual players only

Striking metal cleats, rocks, or any objects other than a baseball may damage your bat.
Although metal and/or composite bats are generally more durable than wooden bats, they can still break; therefore, exercise caution. Additionally, deep scratches, nicks, or dents may lead to breakage at any moment. It is advisable to replace metal and/or composite bats approximately every year, assuming normal usage. Regularly inspect your bat for cracks, nicks, dents, surface damage, or excessive wear. DO NOT USE THE BAT IF IT APPEARS TO BE DAMAGED AS THIS MAY CAUSE HARM TO PLAYERS. - Refrain from using your bat in cold weather. Temperatures below 65 degrees Fahrenheit significantly increases the hardness of balls and may cause your bat to crack or break.
- Black Emerald prohibits the purchaser from making any physical modifications to the bat for use in any game governed by an association or organization that has established performance standards for bats. Modifications include, but are not limited to, bat doctoring, rolling in a vice, striking objects other than approved balls, shaving inner walls, end-loading, and any other actions intended to alter the bat's characteristics or performance. Any suspected modifications will void the bats warranty.

RETURNING A DEFECTIVE BAT
Please keep your receipt as proof of purchase. This is necessary for filing a claim and returning a defective bat. The receipt should show that the bat was purchased from Black Emerald directly or an authorized dealer. Bats returned without proof of purchase may not be eligible for warranty coverage.
- Complete a bat warranty submission form online, and email it to info@blackemeraldbats.com.
- Once warranty form has been received, an email will be sent within 5 business days with instructions on sending the bat, printed warranty form, and purchase receipt to Black Emerald.
- If Black Emerald confirms that the bat is defective, it will be repaired or replaced. If Black Emerald determines that the bat is not covered under warranty, it will be returned to you along with an explanation. This process can take 2-3 weeks.
The customer will be responsible for all return shipping costs for the bat inspection to be completed
